KAPITAL: A New Festival Concept Launches in Bucharest

Neversea, one of Romania’s most prominent music festivals, will debut a new format in Bucharest this summer under a new name: KAPITAL. Scheduled for July 4–6, 2025, the festival will take place at the National Arena, introducing a distinct artistic concept designed specifically for the capital.
The project builds on the foundation of Neversea, which over the years has become the largest and most spectacular beach festival in Europe. KAPITAL maintains that legacy while reshaping the experience to reflect the energy, infrastructure, and scale of Bucharest.
According to Bogdan Buta, Founder and Group CEO of UNTOLD Universe:
“KAPITAL is the project we’ve dreamed about and worked hard to bring to life this summer, from July 4–6 in Bucharest, at the National Arena. The foundation of the concept was Neversea—a special project that became, over time, the biggest and most spectacular beach festival in Europe. As a team, we’ve invested passion, effort, energy, and significant resources to get it to this point. With the unique elements that Bucharest brings, we strongly believe KAPITAL will become a source of pride for the city and evolve into a new world-renowned mega-festival, alongside UNTOLD.”
KAPITAL will feature a different format than previous Neversea editions, adapted to a new urban setting. The original Neversea festival in Constanța is set to return in 2026, continuing in parallel with the Bucharest concept.
